The programme aims to streamline waste collection for its garage members.
Slicker Recycling will offer the growing national network a simple ‘one call’ solution.
“We receive an outstanding level of service,” said Tony Shoard, owner of Servicesure member TSG Garage.
“We simply call and everything’s collected within a couple of days.”
Using Slicker Recycling is a responsible route for garages, too.
Up to 95 per cent of what gets collected is later recycled, in full compliance with all current legal requirements.
Garages have no paperwork or worries when using the service, which can be fully tailored to business needs and includes capability to collect all hazardous waste materials.
There’s no contract and whilst convenience is prioritised, it’s not service at any cost, according to TSG Garage.
“Slicker Recycling deliver value of money in terms of our overall spend on waste oil and hazardous workshop waste,” adds Tony.
Covered waste streams include waste oil, lead acid batteries, mixed fuels, brake or clutch parts, brake fluid, antifreeze, aerosols, grease, paint tins, thinners and tyres.
“Managing multiple waste streams is a growing problem for many garages,” said Paul Dineen, head of garage programmes at The Parts Alliance.
“The solution we’ve developed aims to make it as simple as possible so garages can avoid headaches, avoid risks and focus on the jobs that earn them money.”
