BG Products has released before and after pictures showing the effect of its diesel induction system cleaner.

The engine treatment brand say diesel engines suffer from the formation and accumulation of fuel residues, which clog up the EGR valve and deposit carbon in the intake manifold and suggests that its BG255 diesel induction system cleaner is a quick and effective solution for diesel engines.

A spokesperson for BG Products said: “The product liquifies oil deposits and unburnt fuel that is left behind by exhaust gas recirculation and positive crankcase ventilation systems.

“If left, both of these issues severely restrict the air flow, decrease fuel economy and reduce the overall performance of the vehicle.”

BG255 can be used as part of the BG air induction service, which cleans the entire fuel system and, according to BG Products, restores the vehicle back to peak performance without engine tear-down.
