The gauntlet has been thrown down and the protagonists are jostling for position as DENSO begins the quest to discover who will become its 2024 Go Karting Champion.

After the success of last year’s series, which concluded with Greg Dyson of Spartan Motor Factors finally lifting the champion’s trophy, the search to discover the next holder is starting once again.

With 16 initial heats spread throughout the UK from Edinburgh in Scotland, Leeds in the north, through the Midlands and down to Harlow in the southeast, as well as in Belfast and Dublin, the net is thrown across a truly national scale.

“As well as being enjoyable events in themselves, last years’ championship gave us a great opportunity to get together with our customers across the regions and thank them for their valued support,” said DENSO’s UK and Eire sales manager, Kevin Peacocke.

“So, with a year of experience under our belt and a new year beckoning, we’re really looking forward to the first events and anticipating the final, which will be held on 4 May, with relish, particularly as the venue will be Whilton Mill in Northamptonshire, a circuit that’s been voted the UK’s best karting track and regularly used by F1 stars like David Coultard and Toto Wolf.”
