An American YouTuber with nearly one million subscribers has named the six vehicles that he “absolutely hated working on”.

David Long, aka the Car Wizard, rose to prominence after his appearances on the Hoovies Garage YouTube channel. He’s now a YouTube star in his own right, uploading 662 videos and amassing 160 million views.

Introducing the video, he says: “Over the many years I’ve been running a shop, or been working on cars in general, I can definitely come up with six cars that I really hated working on. When they were done, and I could get them out of the shop, I was jumping for joy.”

The vehicles are:

  • 1998 Dodge Dakota
  • Volkswagen Rabbit (Golf) Cabriolet
  • LS-swapped Porsche 911
  • Bentley Continental
  • 1992 Ford Escort
  • Hesston windrower

Do you have a list of cars you hate working on? Is there a vehicle that makes you jump for joy when it has left the workshop? Let us know in the comments and we’ll create a list of our own.

  1. I’ve never heard of half of these cars. Perhaps you could write a story that’s relevant to the UK?
