Here, HELLA solves a headlight problem on the Smart ForFour (2015-2019), either because the headlights cannot be switched off or it’s no longer possible to switch between low and high beam.
If the headlights on the Smart ForFour are permanently on and/or it’s not possible to switch between low and high beam, the cause could be a faulty multifunction switch.
In addition, the error may be stored in the control unit.
In order to remedy the situation, the multifunction switch should be checked and, if necessary, replaced and the error memory deleted.
