A dual celebration of racing and Ring’s 50th anniversary

Ring and OSRAM illuminate the track with Tockwith Motorsport partnership

Lighting specialist OSRAM, together with its subsidiary, auto accessory provider Ring, have announced their joint sponsorship of Tockwith Motorsport in the Southern European GT Championship.

This partnership comes alongside their support for the NAPA racing team in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).

The Ginetta G50, sporting a unique livery that splits OSRAM and Ring branding across its design, has already made its mark on the grid, with the season kicking off in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, and will conclude in Estoril, Portugal.

Marketing Director, Henry Bisson, said:

“We’re putting a lot of focus on the consumer side of the business this year and racing is the perfect place to target drivers that are passionate about their vehicles and the products they use in those vehicles. Tockwith Motorsport is an incredible team with a proven track record, so we’re excited to see how this season goes.”

“This year is also Ring’s 50th anniversary, so when we were looking at how to celebrate the milestone, this opportunity came up and with everything included in the sponsorship package, it seemed like a no-brainer – especially with how fantastic the car looks!”

Bisson continued:

“We also like to supply product to the teams we’re associated with, so that they not only can get premium quality products, but we can also get feedback on them for future development. Fundamentally though, the sponsorship will generate more exposure for the vast array of products we supply, so it’s a win-win situation for all of us.”

Celebrating Ring’s golden anniversary, this sponsorship is seen as a fitting tribute to a legacy of quality and innovation. The partnership aims to amplify product exposure while commemorating a significant milestone in Ring’s history.
