A new campaign by Corteco is helping garages to make customers more aware of the steps they can take to reduce their exposure to irritants, odours and exhaust gases that might otherwise be present inside the vehicle.
“Changing the cabin air filter ahead of the winter weather renews the protection and comfort that cabin filters provide for everyone inside the car”, says Corteco marketing manager Steve Jarnet.
As well as improving air quality, by insisting on a cabin filter with activated carbon, the cabin is also protected from external odours and other exhaust gases.
The message will be broadcast in a series of POS leaflets available from Corteco distributors.
Steve Jarnet said: “A fresh cabin filter avoids additional issues such as misted or fogged windows – potential safety risks to drivers and other motorists.”
“Only an original cabin air filter, with activated carbon, can protect against pollen and fine dust, help extend the service life of both air conditioning and ventilation systems, while providing additional protection from unpleasant odours, exhaust gases and ozone at the same time,” adds Steve Jarnet.
“But it can’t provide all these benefits all of the time. Regular replacement is essential and renewing the cabin filter just before is about the best time for a change.”
The POS leaflets will be available from 1 December 2015, select ‘more details’ below to for further information about Corteco.
