The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) is asking MOT testers to compete a survey to gather testers’ attitudes towards technology and how they are using it today as part of the MOT testing process.

The survey will ask questions about the following:

  • Devices used during the MOT test: if you use mobile devices such as phones and tablets during the MOT test, and if you don’t, why.
  • Digital confidence: how testers use technology generally and how confident they feel using it.
  • Accessibility needs: the DVSA would like to know of any accessibility needs among testers, so the system can be improved.

The survey is open until 26 January and should take 5-10 minutes to complete.
