Tickets for EV Ready, the UK’s first ever independent garage event dedicated to electric vehicle skills, equipment and technology, are quickly being snapped-up ahead of the trade evening which takes place on Wednesday 25 January, 2023.

Garage owners and technicians are being encouraged to book tickets before an anticipated sell-out.

Headline sponsored by GSF Car Parts and hosted by Garage Wire, EV Ready is bringing the UK aftermarket’s EV expertise together under one roof for the benefit of independent garage owners and technicians.

GSF Car Parts marketing director, Brett Earp said: “You only have to look at the number of vehicle manufacturers with confirmed dates to end the sale of traditional petrol and diesel models to realise what’s going to happen to the UK’s automotive aftermarket – and lots is already happening, as you’ll see at EV Ready.

“We’re used to change in the motor industry but never before have we seen such a fundamental shift, which is why it’s crucial workshops take the time now to consider what electrification means to their business.

“To understand this though, you need to know the facts – and that’s exactly why so many of our garage customers have already booked to attend EV Ready.”

Alongside an exhibition of the very latest EV-related equipment, tools, training and parts available to independent garages from the UK aftermarket’s biggest brands, an EV Ready discussion panel will weigh-up what the UK’s growing EV car parc means for vehicle servicing and repairs, the business opportunities available and how best for workshops to transition into the new and emerging electrified era.

Joining the EV Ready discussion panel is Peter Melville of the Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Repair Alliance (HEVRA), Automotive author Tom Denton, Ben Stockton of Our Virtual Academy, Paul Dineen of Servicesure and Quentin Le Hetet of GiPA.

Matt Cleevely of Cleevely Motors will also be joining the panel to share his expertise as an award-winning and widely renowned independent EV specialist, while Kevin Pearce of Cedar Garage will be offering his perspective as a forward-thinking garage that’s currently making investments to tap into the growing EV market.

Tickets are available to book online for just £5.00 – ticket holders also benefit from free parking, free dinner and a free beer.
