Valeo’s new rear wiper motor references are listed on TecDoc and MAM cataloguing systems.
They cover applications for: Audi A1, A4, A6, S4, RS4 Quattro, Q5 and SQ5; Seat Exeo Sportourer and Ibiza IV; VW Caddy III, IV and Touareg II; and, Porsche Cayenne.
The range offers like-for-like replacement on proposed Valeo parts and 100 per cent fitting accuracy is guaranteed for installers.
Testing
Every wiper motor new reference undergoes rigorous testing to ensure OE quality standards are reached, monitoring wiping angle, power, voltage and speed.
Tests are also carried out in pre-defined climate profiles, such as winter and humid temperatures, to guarantee optimal performance during varied weather conditions.
Valeo say wiper motors fail for a number of reasons, either corrosion, lack of use or through heavy loading when drivers attempt to clear snow and ice from a windscreen.
