The new app, designed to make finding the right filter faster and easier, will identify the correct WIX filter for the application.
In a recent press release, WIX said: “As part of our unique offering, we want to make the ordering process easier for our customers and we believe this app will do this.”
Later this year, WIX will introduce cataloguing for the CV applications on the app, which will be navigated by either VRM or application.
Using the WIX catalogue app
2. In the ‘search via’ section you can type in other OE or competitor part numbers and the app will cross it over to a WIX part number. This increases assurance that you will fit the correct filter that is the same as what has either come off the vehicle.
3. You can also search via the VRM number. The app highlights the complete range of filters for that particular application if produced by WIX, i.e. Pollen, Fuel, Air & Oil Filters.
4. The manufacturer and model lookup section shows a wide range of filters for various applications. Here you can drill down to a particular make or model and engine code, to see all the detail.
5. When you have found the specific model or filter you are looking for, the WIX Catalogue app enables you to analyse each filter in terms of part number, and height and diameter to ensure you are fitting the correct filter for the application. A picture of the filter for a visual inspection, details of other linked applications and equivalent OE numbers are also featured.
