The Birmingham’s NEC is to host the largest number of exhibitors at an Automechanika launch event outside of Frankfurt on June 7-9.
Speaking at a press conference last week, Simon Albert, event director for Automechanika Birmingham explained that this is “the world’s biggest trade exhibition, we’re not just talking automotive, we’re talking the world’s biggest trade exhibition.”
He added: “We have got the who’s who of the industry here.
“Such is the demand to be part of this event that almost every brand that you can think of in the industry is going to be present.”
More than 550 exhibitors will be exhibiting across three halls at the NEC, offering a unique opportunity to see thousands of products and services from the leading brands under one roof.
- Parts and components
- Electronics and systems
- Repair and maintenance
- Accessories and customizing
- Car wash, care and reconditioning
- Management and digital solutions
Unique to Automechanika Birmingham, the show will focus on the whole industry, covering both the supply chain as well as the aftermarket.
A seminar programme delivered by industry experts across three theatres will present the latest industry developments with technical expertise to help independent garages drive their businesses forward.
Olaf Musshoff, director of Automechanika Frankfurt, said that Birmingham is “the perfect complement to Frankfurt.”
“Extensive research at Automechanika Frankfurt showed demand for a UK event,” he explained.
“Last time we had roughly 4,000 visitors to the UK for Frankfurt and there was a need to bring trade shows to the rest of the UK market.”
