Police were called to a Kwik Fit branch in Essex over the weekend after a Ford Fiesta crashed into the building.
The incident happened in Maldon after midnight on Saturday at the branch which is situated close to a busy roundabout between the Tesco and Lidl supermarkets.
According to the Daily Gazette, the car crashed into the fire exit and passers-by stopped to help while waiting for the police to arrive.
