Having spent a considerable period of his working life with FAI, Universal Automotive and latterly, Dayco, Charlie was a popular character with both buying group members and independents alike and always enjoyed a social occasion, where he’d display his warm and friendly nature, as well as his self-deprecating sense of humour.
“Being already very familiar with the product portfolio from his time with our former distributor, Universal Automotive, Charlie joined Dayco in 2015,” explained national sales manager, Steve Carolan.
“He had many great, long-term relationships with our customers throughout his territory in the north of England and in Scotland, and was a valuable member of the team who played a large part in the growth the business has achieved over the last few years.
“On his departure, the entire Dayco Aftermarket team, both here and our head office in Italy, want to thank him for his commitment and wish him, his wife Susan, all the best and a very happy and well-earned retirement.”
