HELLA bringing latest diag tech to UK Garage and Bodyshop Event

HELLA will be displaying its latest diagnostic solutions on stand A28 at the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event, at the NEC in Birmingham on the 5/6 of June.

Mega macs X lets garage owners select the functions and technical data they need for multi-brand diagnostics. Three software modules offer a range of functions, from basic to advanced capabilities, ensuring garages only pay for what they require.

“From tailor-made diagnostic equipment to specialised solutions for hybrid and electric vehicles, we are dedicated to equipping garages with the technology they need to excel in today’s automotive industry,” stated Julian Goulding, Head of Sales at Hella Gutmann. “Our flexible software and licensing models offer workshops the choice to select what suits them and, should those requirements alter at any point, they can simply upgrade their licence to access additional new functionality.”

Also on show will be the Hella Gutmann MT-HV, which enhances the capabilities of mega macs X for hybrid and electric vehicles, enabling technicians to take measurements in both the high and low voltage range.

Visitors to the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event will also have the opportunity to win one of six macsRemote vehicle communication interfaces (VCI), each valued at £850 in a ‘spin the wheel’ game.

For the most recent models launched by vehicle manufacturers (VMs), which even the most current aftermarket tools cannot accommodate, Hella Gutmann’s macsRemote Service offers a portal for independent garages, giving remote access to VM diagnostic tools for enhanced diagnostic functions and support.

“Technicians simply connect the macsRemote VCI to the car and create a job ticket via the Hella Gutmann online portal,” explained Julian. “From there, technical experts can remotely access all the vehicle’s electronic systems and carry out the necessary tasks using VM diagnostic equipment. With no ongoing license fees, it’s a cost-effective pay-as-you-go solution.”

Stephen Fox, HELLA UK Technical and Training Manager for Garage Equipment, will also be delivering a presentation titled ‘The ADAS Opportunity for Independent Garages’. Which will delve into the world of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and its implications for workshops. The talk is scheduled for Wednesday, 5 June at 1.30pm and will be repeated on Thursday, 6 June at 1.00pm.

To attend the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event, garages can secure their free ticket here.
