McDonnell set to fight Jorge Sanchez in a world title eliminator

Approved Garages renews sponsor with boxer Gavin McDonnell
Approved Garages continue their support for super-bantamweight boxer Gavin McDonnell.

Super-bantamweight McDonnell will face Sanchez on the undercard of the title unification fight between IBF champion Carl Frampton and WBA title holder Scott Quigg at the Manchester Arena on February 27th.

The clash will be screened live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Approved Garages have been in McDonnell’s corner throughout his rise to the top, supporting the boxer as he battled to a European title victory last March and again for his defence of that title against experienced Frenchman Jeremy Parodi in October.

“I’m more than ready to prove that I can become a world champion,” said McDonnell.

“I know that Sanchez is going to be a tough fight and I will have to be at my best, but that’s what I am in the sport for – fighting the best and winning titles.”

Maria McCullough, network manager for Approved Garages and AutoCare said: “We’re proud to continue our long standing support for a real British talent, and wish Gavin all the best for the biggest fight of his career so far.

“It’s great news for Approved Garages too, once again showcasing our commitment to top level British sport and giving us the opportunity to highlight our brand at a huge sporting occasion that will be screened live to the nation.”
