The Halfords vehicle became wedged under the railway bridge in Beckenham on Saturday, causing disruptions to train services for a second time.
In a statement on its website after the incident, National Rail said: “A vehicle has struck a bridge between Elmers End and West Wickham this means trains are unable to run between Elmers End and Hayes.”
The news prompted ridicule online as people posted images of the hilarious ‘we fit’ photo.
