A mechanic’s TikTok video showing the discovery of a tracker which had allegedly been planted on the underside of a customer’s car has gone viral.
The video, believed to have been recorded in America, explains that the customer had requested the garage to check the vehicle over fears an ex-boyfriend had fitted a tracking device.
During the clip, TikTok user @kaos_noe, said: “So a customer is scared there’s a tracker in her vehicle from a crazy ex-boyfriend.”
He then shows himself under the vehicle looking at the car’s underside, where he discovers a small device near the wheel.
After scanning the QR code on the device he searches for the device online only to discover tracking data.
The post racked up more than 300,000 likes and thousands of comments.
