IAAF has partnered with APRIL UK, an insurance specialist, to introduce ‘priority plus’ which is a medical cash plan designed for individuals working within the automotive industry.
APRIL is one of the UK’s leading providers of income protection and health insurance policies, specialising in a large selection of plans, including life insurance, private medical insurance, and accident and sickness plans.
The scheme helps IAAF members finance visits to the dentist, opticians, physiotherapist or any other healthcare professional by providing cashback towards the price of expensive medical bills.
Cover includes up to £280 per year dental, up to £280 per year optical and up to £500 per year for specialist consultations, plus up to £600 per year for physiotherapy, osteopathy and chiropractic.
Complimentary benefits are also included with every APRIL UK policy, such as access to the best surgeons and doctors, an expert second opinion service for medical enquiries, and together with Bupa, 25 per cent off its range of health assessments.
Wendy Williamson, IAAF chief executive, said: “We are delighted to team up with APRIL UK and be able to offer all our members a selection of employee benefit schemes.
“The wide range of plans enable members to choose a scheme most appropriate for their business and offer employees a substantial benefit.”
