Nottingham’s ZF Services UK takes pride in 100-year global celebrations
One young attendee thinks the face painting is spider-tastic.

Colleagues from the business’s sister facility at Crick, in Northamptonshire, who also had a celebration buffet, joined their counterparts at the Family Day in Nottingham.

Graham Truckel, Managing Director of ZF Services UK, said: “The 100th anniversary is a wonderful opportunity to bring everyone together to share the pride I know we all feel working for a company whose market leading products play such a key role in keeping much of the world’s transport moving, from cars, trucks and heavy plant to trains and boats – and even wind turbines.”

ZF Services UK was formed in 2011 through the merger of ZF GB, the sales and service organisation in Nottingham, and ZF Trading, the aftermarket parts supplier which itself was formed in 2004 following the merger of Sachs Boge UK and LMI GB.

ZF Friedrichshafen, with its headquarters in Germany, is a global leader in driveline and chassis technology.

The roots of ZF Friedrichshafen AG can be traced back to 9th September 1915 when the name of its forerunner Zahnradfabrik GmbH appeared for the first time in a trade register.

It began as a supplier to the aviation industry and today employs 134,000 people.
