Due to take place at the NEC Birmingham on June 7-9, Schaeffler has announced that it will be at Automechanika.
The company will offer technical demonstrations on fitting the growing range of LuK 2CT double clutches with the Ford Powershift Gearbox, Dual Mass Flywheels (DMFs), FAG Gen II bearings and INA Front End Auxiliary Drive (FEAD) systems, including Overrunning Alternator Pulleys (OAPs).
Malcolm Short, technical services manager of Schaeffler UK, said: “We will be having a major presence at Automechanika on what is the biggest stand at the show at more than 300 square metres.
“The stand is also designed to enable our staff to entertain garage and distributor customers, provide food to our guests and also have discussions with them in meeting rooms.”
Schaeffler will be encouraging workshops to sign-up to its new REPXPERT online portal for workshop professionals, which helps to make life easier for independent garage mechanics.
The company will also be supporting the OESAA stand J39 in hall 10 which promotes the benefits of fitting (OE) parts.
OESAA represents the manufacturers and suppliers of OE automotive parts to vehicle producers, and are planning some interactive presentations with hard talking Andy Savva talking about how to profit from using OE parts but also how to question suppliers who claim to be OE suppliers.
