TRW Aftermarket’s remanufacturing facility in Frydlant, Czech Republic, has received a Volvo Cars Quality Excellence (VQE) award, 2015.
Volvo measured the performance of its suppliers in the following areas: capable systems; capable manufacturing process; ongoing performance; launch performance; continuous improvement and customer endorsement.
Jiri Horvath, senior manager operations, Remanufacturing Group (RMG), said: “A key driver in our success is our ability to supply remanufactured parts to Volvo as new.
“Products that we supply are tested to the same specification as new parts and are supplied with equivalent warranty and high standard of aftersales support.”
