John Kirby told GW: “Whenever we are lucky enough to win a prize, we believe in sharing our good fortune by donating a little to Rainbows Children Hospice in Loughborough.
“It’s something that we’ve always done.”
The Apec 50th anniversary prize draw took place last month to celebrate Apec’s 50 years in business.
Mr Kirby added: “The prize of biscuits and mugs went down really well here, they’ve all gone now but we’ve since re-filled the biscuit tin.
“One of the lad’s got some more biscuits and got his wife to cover them in chocolate and decorate them to look like brake discs and pads.”
