Members of the Approved Garage and AutoCare networks have taken more than a third of the prizes on offer, as the regional winners for 2015 are announced.
The Approved Garages/Auto Care winners are A J Auto Medics, Durham (North East), Whitecroft Garage, Bolton (North West), Broad Street Motors, Pontypool (Wales) and Crescent Motoring, Burton on Trent (West Midlands).
John Rees of Broad Street Motors said: “We pride ourselves on doing the best job we can, but this award is also testament to the effort we put into customer service, and having an open and honest dialogue with customers.”
Crescent Motoring was named the national Garage of the Year in 2014, and managing director Steve Tallett believes the garage’s continuing success is down in part to its place at the heart of the local community.
Mr Tallett said: “We do a lot of work with the local community such as donating and fundraising for local charities – our courtesy car raises money for our nominated local charity.”
Motor Codes’ Kevin Parker thinks the regional winners represent best practice in a continually improving industry.
Mr Parker told Approved Garages: “The winners are ambassadors for their industry and they set the standard for customer service.
“These regional winners can demonstrate great reviews from satisfied customers and a genuine commitment to high standards in their business.”
Phil Seymour, network manager for Approved Garages, said: “These awards are testament to the hard work and dedication of all the members in our network, which overall receives an industry beating 99% Motor Codes customer satisfaction rating.
“We’d like to congratulate A J Auto Medics, Whitecroft Garage, Broad Street Motors and Crescent Motoring on very well deserved wins.”
