AutoAdvisor sees 88 per cent traffic increase as motorists go digital
AutoAdvisor has updated its website based on customer feedback.

Garage lead generator site AutoAdvisor has seen an 88 per cent increase in traffic as motorists go digital to find a provider of car servicing and repair during lockdown.

With a 70 per cent drop in car journeys at the height of the lockdown, combined with an MOT extension and dealerships closing, motorists have decided to go online and seek support to help keep their vehicle on the road.

The MOT extension also brought about a reliance on motorists to ensure their vehicle was roadworthy and AutoAdvisor has responded with a series of self-help videos.

Alex Taylor, founder of AutoAdvisor said: “We’ve seen the biggest rise in traffic to the site in the past four months and, with dealerships closing, it has meant more business and demand for independent garages.”

AutoAdvisor connects motorists with garages for all their vehicle servicing and repair requirements.

The brand has also been assisting garages up and down the country with social distancing posters and signage.

The free-of-charge posters simply need to be downloaded, printed off and displayed in a garage’s premises.

There is also a vehicle sanitisation checklist available to download, which can be given to customers to highlight the areas of their vehicle that have been fully sanitised.
