A total of 148 keys were stolen from the used car dealership, leaving the business facing a bill of more than £60,000 to change the vehicles’ locks.
The business is offering a £5,000 reward for information leading to conviction of the culprits, plus another £1,000 for the key’s recovery.
It is understood that the raiders smashed their way into the premises by smashing an office window before making their escape with the firm’s entire set of car keys, a CCTV unit and a Snap-on diagnostic machine worth more than £3,000.
