MTT has this month launched WebBOOKING for AutoInTouch, a new solution which can be integrated into garage websites to facilitate 24/7 customer bookings.

WebBOOKING can be used for MOTs, general repairs and servicing work.

An MTT spokesperson said: “Recent reports show that more than 33 per cent of MOT tests are booked outside of working hours.

“How much would your garage benefit from a potential increase in bookings of one-third?”

“Your customers can book their upcoming MOT tests in customisable slots so you don’t overbook your MOT bay, and you can close or open the bay when necessary.

“Don’t operate by timeslot? That’s fine, select our AM/PM option and set up how many bookings you can take, and your customers can drop off and pick up as per your practices.”

AutoInTouch’s integration with the DVSA MOT database allows garages to ensure their data is always up to date and correct.

With a few clicks, all vehicles will be checked against the MOT database and all dates will be corrected.
