TRW Aftermarket has been awarded Make Model Index (MMI) supplier status by MAM Software after ‘many years of TRW working in partnership’ with catalogue data management company Elcome to supply its product data to the UK market via MAM’s electronic parts catalogue Autocat+.
TRW’s Global Marketing Data Manager, Marcel Baeumer explained: “Data accuracy is vital to every level of the independent aftermarket supply chain. This certification shows that we deliver the highest quality and most up to date data to the UK’s number one parts catalogue.
“This recognises years of hard work and further validates our position in the UK aftermarket.”
Autocat+ is MAM Software’s web-driven vehicle parts catalogue that allows users to compare multiple suppliers, products and categories, and prices.
UK based Elcome’s XChecker tool allows TRW to upload product images, specifications and prices to Autocat+ allowing TRW Aftermarket to reach thousands of UK-based automotive businesses with its most up to date product data.
