AutoCare network member Crescent, based on Wetmore Road in Burton, scooped the Best Customer Service Award from Staffordshire Chambers at an event designed to showcase the best businesses in the county.
Crescent beat off fierce competition from the likes of Stafford-based Virgin Trains to seal the victory.
The regional recognition follows a major national triumph for the forward-thinking garage, which saw it become Garage of the Year in the prestigious Motor Codes awards for the second year in succession.
The Motor Codes award, based on customer nominations and feedback, rewards excellence in workmanship and customer service.
AutoCare network manager, Maria McCullough said: “This is a garage that invests in the latest diagnostic and repair equipment, and always goes above and beyond in its efforts to give customers a friendly, professional service.”
Managing director Steve Tallett puts Crescent’s repeated success down to the hard work and dedication of his staff and a record of innovation in customer service, including a fully manned reception furnished to franchised dealer standards and innovative ladies’ and new drivers’ nights, which teach basic car maintenance.
Staffordshire Chambers’ business adviser Kathy Poole, who led the judges for the Customer Service category, said: “It was clear to me that this is an award-wining business for all the best reasons, and that it will continue to be an excellent ambassador amongst the county’s leading companies in promoting Staffordshire and its Chambers of Commerce.”
