This yellow Fiat was caught on CCTV and is being sought by police after it tried to park in Corbiehall, Bo’ness last Thursday morning.
The car can be seen driving into the parallel space before undertaking a number of manoeuvres as it attempts to get closer to the curb.
The Fiat suddenly accelerates backwards, mounting the pavement and hitting another car, shunting it back into the vehicle parked behind it.

Seconds later a woman carrying a young child steps out of the flat where the incident is taking place, bemused by what is going on.
As she looks on in shock, the driver eventually drives off and leaves the scene of the accident.
Police Scotland are looking for any information in relation to the incident and are asking for any information to be reported to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
