James Stocks, 24, of Cheshire has become the first motorist to be jailed for dangerous driving after the incident was caught on a dashcam.
Stocks received an eight-month jail sentence after two terrifying overtakes in Shropshire earlier this year.
The Volkswagen Polo can be seen swerving from one side of the road to another as it overtakes two vehicles on a blind bend, forcing the driver of an approaching white van off the road in a last second attempt to avoid a collision with the dangerous driver.
Undeterred, the Polo later proceeded to overtake a grey 4×4 on another bend, coming close to a head-on crash with a Vauxhall Insignia.
The driver recording the incident on dashcam posted the footage on PoliceWitness.com, an organisation which works with the police on driving offences.
Stocks, who pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, was sentenced to eight months and received a fine as well as a ban from driving for two years and four months.
